Band will decorate trees

The Green River Chamber of Commerce Adopt-A-Tree program is now underway and residents can adopt one of the trees along Uinta Drive.

To obtain a tree visit the chamber’s office.

Once a tree is selected, residents will then have to decide if they want to decorate a tree themselves or if they would like to have the Green River High School band decorate it for them.

This year, the band is using the Adopt-A-Tree program as a fundraiser. For $50, the band will put up light on the adopted tree between Nov. 14 and Dec. 4., and remove them between Jan. 2-5. For $30 they will put up the lights; and for...
