Glen Sadler, 89, of Green River died Oct. 30, at his home after a sudden illness.
He was born March 29, 1925 in Rock Springs, the son of Harry "Red" Sadler and Eva Dorrence Sadler Briggs. He attended schools in Rock Springs and graduated from Rock Springs High School.
He was a veteran having served in the US Navy during World War II.
He married Patricia Irene Evers on Nov. 29, 1950. He was employed for FMC for about 40 years.
His interests were bowling, fishing, camping, traveling and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife Patricia Sadler of Green River; sons Brent Sadler and wife Peggy and Kevin Sadler, all of Green River; grandchildren Amber, Aaron, and Gracie; great-grandchildren, Addison, Tyler, Koleson, and Hudson; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bud and sister Keenie.
Cremation has taken place at Fox Crematory in Rock Springs.
A celebration of life will take place at 11 a.m. Friday at Fox Funeral Home in Rock Springs.
Graveside military honors and inurnment will take place at Riverview Cemetery in Green River.
