A Green River High School coach was recognized by her peers following a strong performance at regionals.
Longtime Lady Wolves swim coach Colleen Seiloff was voted as the 4A West Coach of the Year Following Green River’s second place finish.
“It was exciting to receive the honor, but this is easily shared with the girls and other coaches,” Seiloff said.
The Lady Wolves were just edged out by Kelly Walsh by 22 points at the meet and had two individual first-place finishers and one relay team capture a championship. Nine Green River swimmers earned all-conference honors.
A humble Seiloff said the award is something that can also be attributed to a group a girls and coaches who have worked hard all season.
“I’ve got a great group of girls and coaches,” she said.
