Cindy Lynn Pirtle

Cindy Lynn Pirtle, 57, of Green River passed away peacefully Oct. 9 at Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County, surrounded by her family.

She was born Nov. 5, 1956 in Bonne Terre, Mo., the daughter of Billy Pogue and Delores Moyers Pogue.

She married Dennis Pirtle on January 27, 1978 in Fredricktown, Mo.

She worked as a customer service manager for the Sweetwater Federal Credit Union.

She was a member of the Hilltop Baptist Church in Green River.

Her interests were spending time with family, grandchildren and friends, reading, and traveling.

Survivors include her husband Dennis Pirtle of Green River; parents Bill and Delores Pogue of Fredricktown, Mo .; sons Michael Pirtle and wife Lindsay of Bountiful, Utah, and Jeremy Pirtle of Conroe, Texas; daughter Lori George and husband Steve of Green River; brother, Danny Pogue and wife Janice of St. Louis, Mo .; sister, Sheila Hibbitts and husband Bob of Hillsboro, Mo .;  grandchildren Zakree Pirtle, Reagan Pirtle, Colton Sheets, Olivia Sheets, Steve, George, and Maylee Pirtle; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins ,nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents-in-law, Ralph and Virginia Pirtle, grandparents Claude and Ethel Pogue, Edna and Harry Moyers.

Funeral services took place Tuesday

Interment took place in Riverview Cemetery.
