Edward Leroy Fletcher, 76, of Rock Springs, died Sept. 28, at Intermountain Medical Center in Murray, Utah.
He was born April 11,1938 in Ainsworth, Neb., the son of Albert Barnes Fletcher and Grace Pearl Hollopeter Fletcher.
He was a veteran having served in the US Army.
He married Patsy Lee Marker on Aug. 17,1968 in Bartlett, Neb.
He worked as a mechanic for Western Nuclear in Jeffrey City. He also worked for Cobra Tire in Green River until his retirement in 2000.
His interests were spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, and camping.
Survivors include his wife Patsy Fletcher of Rock Springs; sons William Alberts of Norfolk, Neb .; Elvin Fletcher and wife, Tamara, Jason Fletcher and wife, Lena, Joshua Fletcher and wife, Joyce, all of Rock Springs; daughters Cheri Putnam and husband Jess of Overton, Neb., Debbie Hunke and husband, Chris, of Lexington, Neb., Judy Ferguson and husband, Brad, of Johnson Lake, Neb., Tammy Price and husband, Jim, of Doniphan Neb .; sister Alberta Oatman of Chadron, Neb .; numerous grandchildren and several great-grand children; numerous nieces and nephews including nephew Robin Fletcher and wife Cathy of Rock Springs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Grace Fletcher; brothers, Glenn Fletcher, Clarence Fletcher, and Marion Fletcher.
Funeral services with military honors will take place 10 a.m. Oct. 3, 2014 at Fox Funeral Home in Rock Springs. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Cremation will follow at Fox Crematory.
