Donald Orville Morgan, 44, of Rock Springs passed away in Pinedale Sept. 17. A lifelong resident of Rock Springs, Morgan passed away suddenly.
He was born on Oct. 9, 1969 in Rock Springs, the son of Albert Elbridge Morgan and Louise Montoya Smith. Morgan attended schools in Rock Springs.
He worked as a pipeliner for the International Union of Operating Engineers for Heavy Equipment Operators. His interests included hunting, fishing and camping.
Survivors include his parents Louise Smith and husband Bruce and Albert E. Morgan, both of Rock Springs; two sons, Dallas Morgan of Sandy, Utah and Jessie Morgan of Lyman; Kassandra Morgan of Salt Lake City; three brothers, Albert Morgan, William "Billy" Morgan and Aaron Morgan, all of Rock Springs; two sisters, Deborah Morgan-Anselmi and Melody Householder and husband Skip, both of Rock Springs, step-sisters Nicole Nelson and husband Brian of Laramie, Erin Graham and husband Todd of Lodge Grass, Mont., Adrianna Smith of Montana and Bridget Buraston and husband Koby of Green River; and grandmother Adeline Montoya of Reliance; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Louis Montoya and paternal grandparents Roy and Betty Morgan; one son, Justin Morgan; one uncle, Andy Morgan and one aunt Patricia Allen.
Funeral services took place today.
Interment will be in the Rest Haven Memorial Gardens.
