William Keith "Bill" McQuillan

William Keith "Bill" McQuillan, 55, of Rock Springs passed away suddenly Sept. 11, 2014 in Pinedale. Bill spent his last days doing what he loved the most, hunting in the Hoback.

Bill was born in Rock Springs on Sept. 2, 1959 to William "Bay" and June Cassas McQuillan. He attended schools in Rock Springs and graduated from Rock Springs High School with the class of 1978.

He was an accomplished backhoe operator, working in the oilfield and construction fields and was employed for several years with Questar Corporation and Greene's Welding.

Bill was an avid sports fan, especially of the San Diego Chargers.  He loved hunting and the outdoors.

He is survived by his sister Jolene Endres of Rock Springs and sister Rae Lynn Larsen and husband Steve of Rock Springs; niece Erin Endres of Rock Springs; three nephews; sister-in-law Cyndi McQuillan of Rock Springs and two great nieces. He is also survived by several close cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents Bay and June McQuillan, brother Mike McQuillan, paternal grandparents Thomas and Rose McQuillan, maternal grandparents Ray and Flora Cassas, one cousin and several aunts and uncles.

Cremation will take place and graveside services to be held at a later date.
