John "Pinky" Angelovic, 78, of Carlsbad, N.M. died Aug. 31 of cancer at home.
He was born Feb. 5, 1936 in Rock Springs, the son of Joseph and Helen (Young) Angelovic.
He was a lifelong resident, spending all but the last few years of his life in the state of Wyoming, where he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and hanging out with friends and family.
He worked 40 years at FMC and moved to New Mexico following retirement for the mild winters.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Edward Angelovic.
Survivors include his wife, Robyne of Carlsbad, N.M.; brother Joe Angelovic of Star Valley; daughter Diana and son-in-law Joe Brunson of Texas. He is also survived by granddaughters Rachael and husband Austin Griffith and Megan and husband Chris Jones as well as great-grandchildren Morgan Mathews, Simon Griffith, Beau Jones, and Hope Jones.
He will be cremated and there will be no memorial or service at this time.
