Norman Loyd Clouse

Norman Loyd Clouse, 82, of Rock Springs passed away on Aug. 24 at his home.  A longtime resident of Rock Springs and former resident of Arkansas and Oklahoma, Clouse passed away following a brief illness.

He was born in Midland, Ark. on July 25, 1932, the son of Roy C. and Gladys F. Bailey Clouse

Clouse attended schools in Midland, Ark .; Spiro, Okla. and Superior.

He married Dolores McGee in Rock Springs on Sept. 22, 1951.

Clouse worked for FMC Corporation for 24 years until his retirement in 1992.

His interests included horseback riding, hunting, ice fishing, tinkering and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Dolores Clouse of Rock Springs; two sons, Donald Wayne Clouse of Salt Lake City, and Royce Leon Clouse of Rock Springs; one brother, Buford Clouse of St. George, Utah and two sisters Louise Fraiser and Becky Marshall, both of Oklahoma; three grandchildren, Nealle Beachler, Roilyn Waller and Robert Clouse; six great-grandchildren Shane Rivera, Bailey Beachler, Cheyanne Beachler, Alyssa Frederick, Madelyn Frederick and Mason Nading.

Funeral services will take place at 1 p.m., Saturday at Vase Funeral Chapel in Rock Springs. Reverend Kay Grice will conduct the services.

Interment will be in the Rock Springs Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-6 p.m., Friday at Vase Funeral Chapel and again on Saturday morning one hour prior to services.
