Green River hosted the Worland Warriors on Hall of Fame night before a large home crowd, but were unable to secure a win in the high-scoring game. The Warriors came into Wolves Stadium with the largest contingent of players in the school's history, which included a number of experienced seniors on the roster. The Green River High School golf team is headed to the state tournament next weekend after a strong season, with the girls leading the way. The girls team has won all but one tournament this season. Green River girls came in first in seven out of nine individual events. The Lady Wolves ended Thursday night with a loss from their rivals, the Lady Tigers from Rock Springs. The match consisted of four sets, with the Lady Tigers winning the first 25-21, the Lady Wolves taking the second 25-22 and the Lady Tigers finishing the night with 25-21 and 25-14 wins. Residents and visitors walking along the Viaduct overlooking the Union Pacific rail yard can do so without seeing the tags and images previously spray-painted along its length. This is due to the work of Eagle Scout Elijah Kropf and Boy Scout Troop 312 giving the Viaduct a new coat of paint last month.
