    The Lady Wolves basketball team still showed their opponents they’re a force to be reckoned with during the Taco John’s Invite in Cheyenne over the weekend. The girls won two of their three games, defeating Cheyenne Central 56-54 and Wheatland 55-29, but took a 64-38 loss to Cheyenne East.     There was a whole lot of basketball going on in Cheyenne with the annual Taco John’s Invite last weekend, with the Wolves earning two wins. The Wolves defeated Cheyenne Central 51-49 in a game ending in overtime. The Wolves followed that win up with a second against Wheatland 60-56. Their third game of the series against Cheyenne East was a different story however, with the Wolves falling 76-54. Athletics Director Tony Beardsley said the tournament is larger than it has been in previous years, with 19 girls varsity teams and 18 boys varsity teams participating in the tournament.
