    Green River High School incoming junior Isabell Salas was one of four high school golfers in the state chosen to be a part of Wyoming Girls Junior America's Cup golf team. Players were chosen from a combination of high school and WSGA/WJGT scores, personal statements and a written essay. The Girls Junior America Cup includes 18 teams and each team consists of the top four girls from each state or country.     The Green River Knights B team took on the Rock Springs B team Thursday, July 7 in Green River, taking the lead in the fifth inning and coming up with a 5-3 victory. Pitching for the Knights was Brackin Lail who surrendered three runs on five hits during five innings and struck out five players.     In two nights of rodeo action featuring more than 100 contestants, the Overland Stage Stampede Rodeo brought hundreds of fans to the Green River's rodeo grounds.     The 41st Annual Western Wyoming Karate Championships were hosted by Pineda’s Kenpo Karate at the Green River Recreation Center May 21.
