The Green River Wolves took the five-hour, 300-mile trip north this past Friday to take on the two-time defending State champion Cody Broncs, who are 4-0 this season, on their home field on homecoming night. The Lady Wolves Volleyball team had two games last week against Sheridan and Star Valley. Coming from a tough loss the week before against Jackson, the girls showed a lot of integrity and had control over the Sheridan match the entire time. The Lady Wolves faced two tough teams last week and proved again how competitive they can be. The girls may have lost to Cheyenne Central, but they came back and won the meet against Laramie. Anytime you can get ahead of some of these tough teams, it is a big win for your confidence and the team. The Green River High School boys and girls Cross Country teams competed at the Evanston Invitational this past weekend against teams from Evanston and Lyman and a few competitors from Manila, Utah.
