    The Green River Wolves Boys Wrestling team showed why they were one of the favorites going into regionals, with a strong performance winning them the 3A Regional Wrestling Tournament.     The new Wyoming State Girls Wrestling program continues to progress as this week the Green River High School Girls Wrestling team traveled to the Bridger Valley to compete with fourteen other Wyoming high schools' girls wrestling teams in the first Lyman Girls Invitational Wrestling Tournament.     It was another fun-filled weekend of basketball for the Lady Wolves. They traveled to Riverton on Friday to play the Wolverines. The ladies started out a little slow, missing some easy baskets, but they were able to steal the ball back and score some points, ending the first quarter with 15 points to Riverton's 10.     The Wolves played Riverton and Cody this past weekend on February 10 and 11. On Friday, the boys played Riverton, ending with a score of 60-49, with Riverton taking the win.     This past Wednesday, the Green River High School Wrestling teams, including the Boys Varsity, Girls Varsity and Boys J.V. teams, all traveled to Evanston. The Evanston Red Devils are in their first year of 3A wrestling after dropping down from 4A. All three of the Green River teams defeated Evanston in highly competitive matches.     The Mustang Invite at Natrona County High School in Casper was the site of the High School Boys and Girls Indoor Track Competition this past weekend for the Wolves. There were eighteen teams competing, with over 100 competitors in multiple events. They also honored the six seniors that jumped into the pool for the last time for the Green River High School team.     The Green River High School Girls and Boys Indoor Track team took the long journey to Northeast Wyoming to participate in the Basin Nation Indoor Track Meet in Gillette, hosted by Thunder Basin High School. There were seventeen teams from Northeast and Central Wyoming, with Green River being the sole participant from Southwest Wyoming.
