    Wildfire smoke is making it difficult to breathe for many people in the Sweetwater County area. The Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality, Air Quality Division, and the Wyoming Department of Health issued an air quality alert for wildfire smoke for Sweetwater and 10 other Wyoming counties last week. The funding is being eliminated due to the first round of budget cuts caused by the novel coronavirus.     New information regarding a century-old murder discovered by staff at the Sweetwater County Historical Museum is shedding light on the acts leading to that murder.     Wyoming’s State Loan and Investment Board awarded Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County nearly $4.5 million in Coronavirus Relief Grants.     Emmalee Skinner was named Distinguished Young Woman of Wyoming at the conclusion of a statewide scholarship program Saturday.
