    The Sweetwater County Travel & Tourism Board (SWCTTB) hosted a ribbon cutting on Wednesday, June 9th at the Flaming Gorge Gateway Sign on U.S. Highway 191 South to celebrate the designation of the Flaming Gorge – Green River Basin Scenic Byway as an All-American Road.     A recent research request about the location of two long-disused railroad sidings reminded staff at the Sweetwater County Historical Museum of the worst train wreck in Sweetwater County history. The caller requested information about Marston and Azusa, sidings he believed once existed between Green River and Granger. Mary Morin celebrated her 60th anniversary working for the hotel and travel stop Tuesday with a celebration featuring family, friends and coworkers.     Six Green River educators are finalists in the district’s Teacher of the Year award. The award is given annually to teachers who go above and beyond in educating Green River’s youth. The district received 33 teacher nominations, with the selection committee narrowing the group down to the final six.     Three Sweetwater County high school graduates are Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County scholarship recipients. Rikki Cozad, Delaney Gardea, and Abby Hautala all received scholarships. Two of the scholarships were awarded by the MHSC General Medical staff. Cozad, a Rock Springs High School student, and Gardea, a Green River High School student, each received a scholarship for $3,000.
