Ricky Nolan Slaugh, 46, of Manila, Utah passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019 while traveling south of Green River, Wyoming. He was born during the blizzard of '72 on Dec. 29 to Nolan Reid Slaugh and Carolyn Martinsen Slaugh. He was the biggest baby born of their 5 children. William "Bill" Drummond Fleming, age 93, passed away at his home in Glenwood on Christmas morning, Wednesday, December 25, 2019 surrounded by his family. Bill was born on May 13, 1926 in Lewistown, Montana to William and Verna Fleming. His family moved to Rock Springs, Wyoming in 1932 where he attended school, graduating high school in 1944. A fire at the former Washington Elementary School was contained to the upper floors of the building. According to Green River Fire Chief Mike Nomis, firefighters were called to the Washington Square building at about 5:30 p.m., Thursday evening after smoke was reported coming from the building.
