    The Sweetwater County Historical Museum recently completed an enhanced exhibit at the County Courthouse in Green River entitled “Mapping Our History: Surveying & Engineering in Sweetwater County.” The new exhibit is an expanded version of a previous display of surveying instruments, books, and other items that belonged to the late Richard (Dick) C.   • Memorial hospital awarded SLIB grant

    Wyoming’s State, Loan and Investment Board awarded Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County about $1.2 million in Coronavirus Relief Grants. The board met Thursday to discuss grant applications. Sweetwater Memorial received full funding for the following: Mobile Lab: $278,250 UV Robots: $248,594 Laboratory Equipment: $227,531 The hospital payroll expense grant received partial funding.   • Civilian firearms training courses scheduled

    Despite a tumultuous beginning to the year, the Sweetwater County Sheriff”s Office firearms training staff still plans to host its abbreviated 2020 civilian firearms training schedule. The scheduled classes are as follows: July 25, Sept. 19 Each class comprises a combination of classroom instruction and shooting exercises.
