Stanley Ed Pivik, known by his large and loving family as "Uncle Stan," 92, passed away Feb. 15, 2019, in Casper. Stan was born Nov. 27, 1926, in Hudson; son of Joe H. Pivik and Mary Pivik. Stan was raised in Rock Springs and graduated from Rock Springs High School in 1944. At the age of 17, he enlisted in the United States Navy, served his tour of duty from 1944-1946, and was honorably discharged. Stan was honored to serve his country as a Navy seaman.
