    Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County has a new doctor on staff. Dr. Wallace Curry recently joined the Memorial Hospital Urology, located in the Medical Office & Physician Clinic. A Salt Lake City native, Curry has practiced for the last 12 years in Western Kansas. He completed his undergraduate training at the University of Utah and subsequently graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin.     The Green River Police Department isn’t just seeking people involved with shooting out a second-story window at City Hall, they’re seeking car thieves as well. According to a release from the Sweetwater Community Crime Stoppers, the GRPD seeks information about a car theft that occurred between Jan. 13 and Jan. 15.     Dustin Shillcox, a Green River resident who serves as an ambassador for the Christopher Reeves Foundation will speak at the annual Mayor’s Leadership Awards next Wednesday at the Sweetwater County Events Complex. Shillcox was injured in a vehicle crash Aug. 26, 2010, when the business van he drove blew a tire out and travelled into the cable median on Interstate 80 outside of Rock Springs.     Last week, members of the Sweetwater County Child Developmental Center’s board of trustees voted to fire its executive director, who had been placed on administrative leave since October. According to a release from the CDC, the board voted to fire Wall Dec. 9 after an executive session used to discuss the termination.     A Saturday outing at the Flaming Gorge turned tragic when a vehicle rolled into to the water, resulting in the death of a four-year-old girl. According to a press release from the Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office, four-year-old Natalie Gibson died in the incident.     The Memorial Hospital of Sweetwater County Foundation received a special donation from a local mine at a meeting last week.
