Their opening meet, which took place in Lyman, resulted in the girls taking the meet with a score of 213 to Lyman’s 101. A second, larger meet at Jackson Hole Middle School, also ended with a victory for Green River. A 40-year-old Utah resident died at Greens Draw Friday night. According to officials from the Daggett County Sheriff’s Office, Ryan Gardiner of Vernal, Utah, sustained serious injuries after being pinned between a camper and a vehicle. Sheriff’s deputies and other emergency responders were called to Greens Draw at about 10:30 p.m. Gardiner was conscious and responsive when responders first arrived, however his condition deteriorated and was unable to be stabilized for transport.
