The Mustang Invite at Natrona County High School in Casper was the site of the High School Boys and Girls Indoor Track Competition this past weekend for the Wolves. There were eighteen teams competing, with over 100 competitors in multiple events. The Green River High School Girls and Boys Indoor Track team took the long journey to Northeast Wyoming to participate in the Basin Nation Indoor Track Meet in Gillette, hosted by Thunder Basin High School. There were seventeen teams from Northeast and Central Wyoming, with Green River being the sole participant from Southwest Wyoming. Head football Coach Kevin Cuthbertson stepped down this week after a 2-7 season in which they failed to make the playoffs. Cuthbertson met with his players Monday to let them know. Star Valley amassed 222 yards running the ball and 224 yards passing with their quarterback throwing four touchdown passes.
