    Pineda's Kenpo Karate Team sent 10 students to compete at the Valor Karate Tournament in Farmington, Utah on September 21, 2024. The group that attended the event were all beginning rank yellow and orange belts. The young team responded with great performances. Participants competed in forms, sparring, weapons, self-defense, padded sword sparring, flag sparring, and board breaking.     Pineda's Kenpo Karate hosted the 43rd annual Western Wyoming Karate Championships on May 11, 2024, at the Green River Recreation Center. The event drew 220 competitors from Wyoming, Utah, Montana, Colorado and Idaho. Divisions offered included traditional and creative kata, weapons, and self-defense, point sparring, padded sword sparring, flag sparring, and board breaking.     The 42nd Annual Western Wyoming Karate Championships were hosted by Pineda's Kenpo Karate at the Green River Recreation Center on May 13, 2023. The championships hosted 183 competitors from Wyoming, Utah, Montana, and Colorado. Competition included forms, weapons, self-defense, sparring, flag sparring, padded sword sparring, and board breaking.
